Yes I have heard this theory Garry. I however sort of view death as a rebirth :)

'...Dr. Christopher Kerr speaks at a 2015 TEDx event Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Christopher W. Kerr is the Chief Medical Officer at The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, where he has worked since 1999. His background in research has evolved from bench science towards the human experience of illness as witnessed from the bedside, specifically patients’ dreams and visions at the end of life. Although medically ignored, these near universal experiences often provide comfort and meaning as well as insight into the life led and the death anticipated.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community...'

Yes, my daughter was going to visit the mother of a friend who was terminally ill, the last few months she had many dreams like that and she said it helped her because she was no longer afraid of dying, she was able to help her children accept her departure, she knew that everything would be fine for her

Sylvie, people can be so amazing even at the most challenging times !!

My father was 94 when he passed over, he had a dream about his father ...

Just a few days before he went to hospice, he saw his father by a bridge ...

He said that his father was waiting there for him so they could go together !!
